Sutta 140

[140.1][olds] "Monks, there are these two gifts.

What two?

The carnal and the spiritual.[156]

These are the two.

Of these two the spiritual gift is pre-eminent."

[141.1][olds] "Monks, there are these two sacrifices.

What two?

The carnal and the spiritual.

These are the two.

Of these two the spiritual sacrifice is pre-eminent."

The carnal and the spiritual.
