Ekaɱ samayaɱ Bhagavā Sāvatthiyaɱ viharati.|| ||

Tatra kho Bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi:|| ||

'Bhikkhavo' ti.|| ||

'Bhadante' ti te bhikkhū Bhagavato paccassosuɱ.|| ||

Bhagavā etad avoca:|| ||

Tayo'me bikkhave āpāyikā nerayikā idamappahāya.|| ||

Katame tayo?|| ||

[266] Yo ca abrahmacārī brahmacārī paṭiñño.|| ||

Yo ca suddhaɱ brahmacariɱ parisuddham brahmacariyaɱ carantaɱ amūlakena abrahmacariyena anuddhaɱseti.|| ||

Yo cāyaɱ evaɱ-vādī evaɱ diṭṭhi n'atthi kāmesu doso ti,||
so kāmesu pātavyataɱ āpajjati.|| ||

Ime ko bhikkhave tayo āpāyikā nerayikā idam appahāyā ti.|| ||
