Ekaɱ samayaɱ Bhagavā Sāvatthiyaɱ viharati.|| ||

Tatra kho Bhagavā bhikkhu āmantesi:|| ||

"Bhikkhavo" ti.|| ||

"Bhadante" ti te bhikkhū Bhagavato paccassosuɱ.

Bhagavā etad avoca:|| ||

"Pañc'ime bhikkhave ādīnavā atinivāse.

Katame pañca?

Āvāsa-maccharī hoti,||
kula-maccharī hoti,||
lābha-maccharī hoti,||
vaṇṇa-maccharī hoti,||
dhamma-maccharī hoti.

Ime kho bhikkhave, pañca ādīnavā atinivāse.

 


 

Pañc'ime bhikkhave, ānisaɱsā sama-vatthavāse.

Katame pañca?

Na āvāsa-mccharī hoti,||
na kula-maccharī hoti,||
na lābha-maccharī hoti,||
na vaṇṇa-maccharī hoti,||
na dhamma-maccharī hoti.

Ime kho bhikkhave, pañca ānisaɱsā samavatthavāse" ti.|| ||
