Ekaɱ samayaɱ Bhagavā Sāvatthiyaɱ viharati.|| ||

Tatra kho Bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi:||
Bhikkhavo ti.||
Bhadante ti te bhikkhū Bhagavato paccassosuɱ.||
Bhagavā etad avoca:|| ||

Satt'imi bhikkhave, anusayā.|| ||

Katame satta?|| ||

Kāmārāgānusayo,||
paṭighānusayo,||
diṭṭhānusayo,||
vicikicchānusayo,||
mānānusayo,||
bhavarāgānusayo,||
avijjānusayo.|| ||

Ime kho bhikkhave, satta anusayā ti.|| ||
