[5] Comy. channa-paribbājako

[6] Of the others Comy. remarks: titthiyā eva. Our text reads magaṇḍiko, but S.e. and Comy. magandiko; maganda in Skt. means a usurer.

[7] Deva-dhammiko, or it may mean fatalist, a believer in luok (?).

[ed1] Hare has abridged nearly the whole of this sutta referencing § 145, but there, in the Pali, the third item is "Kāmesu micchā-cārī hoti" (and for the opposite "kāmesu micchā-cārā paṭivirato hoti" where as the Pali for this sutta has "abrahma-cārī hoti," and "abrahma-cariyā paṭivirato hoti". Hare translates "brahma-cāriya" as "Godly life."
