The Book of the Gradual Sayings
X. The Book of the Tens
XIV: The Seemly (a)
Blameworthy and Blameless
Translated from the Pali by F. L. Woodward, M.A.
 THUS have I heard:
Once the Exalted One addressed the monks, saying:
"Yes, lord," they replied, and the Exalted One said:
"Monks, I will teach you blameworthy dhamma and blameless dhamma.
Do ye listen to it.
Pay attention carefully and I will speak."
"We will, sir," replied those monks to the Exalted One,
who said this:
"And what, monks, is blameworthy dhamma?
This is called 'blameworthy dhamma.'
And what, monks, is blameless Dhamma?
This is called 'blameless dhamma.'"
